About this crossing

A long list of Kitsap Transit bus routes ends at the Bremerton ferry terminal, and paid car parks lie within three and a half blocks of it. Drivers coming up SR 3 from the south take SR 304, signed with a ferry symbol; from the north, Kitsap Way (SR 310) leads through town to 1st Street and the tollbooths. Only vehicles pay on this leg. WSF collects the round-trip passenger fare in Seattle, so foot passengers board free here and cyclists need not stop at the tollbooth. From here it is an hour to Seattle's central waterfront at Pier 52.
