About this crossing

The boat reaching Iloilo at 03:00 on Thursday has been on the move since Tuesday. Montenegro's M/V Maria Isabel starts its weekly run at Puerto Princesa, reaches Cuyo early on Wednesday and leaves for Panay in the afternoon, so Cuyo passengers step ashore in Iloilo City in the small hours. The island group lies in the Sulu Sea, part of Palawan province yet nearer to Panay, and this is its only sailing to the Visayas in our listings. The boat back to Cuyo usually leaves Iloilo on Saturday, then carries on to Puerto Princesa.
