This short hop across the southern end of Iligan Bay is the first leg of Cokaliong's evening service to Cebu. The ship that leaves Iligan at 16:00 stays at Ozamiz after its 18:00 arrival and sails on for Cebu at 20:00 (Iligan to Cebu); which of Cokaliong's ships it is changes from day to day.

Tickets cost a fraction of what the same ship charges for Cebu. The crossing runs on five days of the week rather than daily, and the eastbound boat runs in the morning, so anyone going from Iligan to Ozamiz and back will need a night on the far side.
