About SuperCat Fast Ferry Corporation

Speed is what SuperCat sells. The company describes its business as moving passengers by fast craft, and its own destination list is short: Batangas, Calapan, Cebu, Ormoc and Tagbilaran. Our timetable gives it three departures a day each way on Cebu to Ormoc, at 180 minutes, and three each way between Batangas and Calapan across the Verde Island Passage, at 90. Tagbilaran has no SuperCat sailing in our data; Cebu to Tagbilaran is left to OceanJet, Lite Ferries and a weekly 2GO ship.

SuperCat shares the Cebu–Ormoc run with OceanJet, Lite Ferries and Roble Shipping, and it is among the quicker options there; Lite's sailing to Ormoc is timetabled at 420 minutes. Between Batangas and Calapan its 90 minutes compare with FastCat's 120. Its destination list does not include Bacolod or Iloilo, and our timetable no longer carries a Bacolod (BREDCO)–Iloilo service under its name.

Seats come in business, tourist and open-air economy classes. Bookings go through Chelsea Travel, the ticketing platform of the Chelsea Logistics group, which owns SuperCat, and the fares page gives separate student, senior and PWD, child and infant prices.
