About this crossing

A courtesy lane at the downtown Campbell River terminal gives Cortes Island drivers a head start. Offered first come, first served, it puts them off the boat ahead of other traffic at Quathiaski Cove, leaving time to cross Quadra to Heriot Bay for the Cortes ferry. Everyone else simply queues in order of arrival. BC Transit and several taxi firms serve the terminal; there is no parking.
