Getting to the boat is the awkward part on Quadra. Quathiaski Cove has no local transit, and the nearest parking is paid, managed by the Quadra Island Harbour Authority rather than BC Ferries. At the other end anyone on foot is better served: the ferry docks on Campbell River's waterfront in the town centre, with BC Transit, taxis, shops and a hotel close to the terminal.
