A whole evening and a night go by between Dapitan and Cebu on this Cokaliong sailing, which is timetabled for Tuesdays and Thursdays and sometimes runs on a Sunday as well. The ship calls at Dumaguete on the way, arriving there in the evening and leaving again just before midnight, which is why Cokaliong's Dapitan to Dumaguete service leaves at the same hour.
Sailings from Dapitan use Pulauan port. A second route to Cebu starts from Plaridel, further east in Misamis Occidental, where Lite Ferries leaves around midday on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and takes longer still.
