About the terminal
More routes start here than at any other port in these listings. Cebu City's port runs along the east coast of Cebu island, facing Mactan across the Mactan Channel, and it is the main passenger harbour of the Visayas. Its departures fan out three ways: day and night runs to six Bohol ports, to western Leyte and to Dumaguete and Siquijor; overnight ships south across the Bohol Sea to northern Mindanao, most of them leaving in the evening; and longer voyages north to Samar, Masbate, Panay and Manila. The Mactan ferry has its own entry, Cebu City. Of two smaller wharves nearby, Ouano in Mandaue (6 km) has Lite Ferries' boats to Tubigon, while Talisay (9 km) appears without a current timetable.
