Zamboanga breaks this trip in two. The weekly 2GO ship leaves General Santos on Saturday night, spends Sunday afternoon and evening at Zamboanga, and reaches Iloilo, on Panay, late on Monday morning after two nights aboard. No return sailing is timetabled, so plan the way back separately.
Travellers who can start from northern Mindanao have a shorter option in the overnight Cagayan de Oro to Iloilo sailing on Thursdays, which takes about a third as long.
