About this crossing

Both cities are on Mindanao, and the one weekly ship between them leaves Davao City before dawn on Saturday, runs down the Davao Gulf, rounds the southern end of the island and turns into Sarangani Bay, docking at General Santos in the afternoon.

The vessel is 2GO's Manila ship on the second half of its loop, so passengers can stay aboard for Zamboanga and Iloilo, which makes this the first leg for anyone heading to the Visayas by sea. Nothing is timetabled in the other direction.
