About this crossing

Bowen Island's only BC Ferries service takes no bookings, so cars and foot passengers board in the order they reach Horseshoe Bay. The fare charged here is a return, and the trip back from Snug Cove needs no second ticket. Walk-on visitors can take TransLink's 257 from West Georgia Street in downtown Vancouver, while drivers leaving a car on the mainland side can use the terminal's pay parking, run by Impark. The same terminal handles sailings to the Sunshine Coast and Nanaimo.
