It sails after dark and docks at 08:30 in Cagayan de Oro, on Macajalar Bay in Misamis Oriental, so the night aboard replaces a night in a hotel. From Cagayan de Oro there are onward boats to Jagna on Bohol and to Cebu, which makes it possible to loop back through the Visayas without retracing the route. The return to Iloilo also sails overnight.
