About this crossing

Regular users save with prepaid paper tickets, since the BC Ferries Experience Card, the discount card taken on most routes, is not accepted on this crossing. The tickets are sold at Thrifty Foods in Broadmead, Sidney, Central Saanich and Mill Bay, and crew on board sell them in books. Nobody can reserve a place: cars and walk-on passengers board in the order they turn up. The Mill Bay terminal stands on Ferry Road, some ten minutes' drive south of Mill Bay village, and neither end of the route has parking. BC Transit serves both terminals.
