Inter-island car trips cannot be reserved, and a place on the boat goes to whoever reaches the Orcas terminal first. Check the sailing as well: WSF's route table marks some island stops on Anacortes-route boats as closed to inter-island vehicles, though foot passengers and bikes may still travel on them. On Lopez the boat ties up at the island's northern end, a 4-mile trip from Lopez Village.
