Which boat you catch here decides whether the 30 nautical miles of the Bohol Strait take two hours or three. FastCat and Lite Ferries' LITE CAT 2 are both timetabled at two hours, while Lite's roll-on/roll-off Lite Ferry 17, on the 07:00, 14:00 and 21:00, needs three. Only LITE CAT 2's 04:00 skips a day, with no sailing on Sundays.

FastCat's fares run from ₱392 to ₱487 across its three classes, well below what Tagbilaran's fast craft, 36 km south, charge for a similar two hours. Late in the evening three boats leave within 90 minutes of each other, and after that nothing sails until the early hours.
