About Lapulapu Shipping Lines
Vehicles stay ashore with Lapulapu Shipping: the company calls itself a non-RoRo service that takes only non-rolling cargo alongside its passengers. Its ports of call are Cebu City, Talibon on the north coast of Bohol, and Baybay on Leyte.
In our timetable it sails Cebu to Baybay at 20:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, timetabled at 420 minutes, and back at 20:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, both ways on MV Lapulapu Ferry 1. The boat back leaves on the evening of the day the ship reaches Baybay, which allows a day ashore between the two night crossings. For Talibon the company publishes no current timetable, so check with it; Cokaliong works Cebu to Talibon daily in both directions.
Where you buy matters. Advance tickets are sold at the main office in Cebu City and through Barkota, online or at its affiliated outlets; the Pier 3 booth and the company's outlets in Talibon and Baybay sell tickets for the same day only. Fares in our data run from economy to air-conditioned accommodation.
