About this crossing

Lapulapu Shipping Lines' own website still carries a November 2025 sheet promising a 20:00 departure every night from Sunday to Friday, but Barkota, the booking channel the line names on its ticketing page, sells this crossing on alternate nights only, with one ship, MV Lapulapu Ferry 1. Barkota opens sales only about a week ahead, so dates further out may not show yet.

Baybay lies on the west coast of Leyte, between Ormoc and Hilongos, and both have more frequent boats: Cebu to Ormoc has 63 sailings a week, fast craft included, and Roble sails to Hilongos every night. The ship's return from Baybay also leaves at 20:00, three nights a week (Baybay to Cebu).
