Sibulan, in Negros Oriental, is the Negros end of the short Tañon Strait crossing to Lilo-an in Santander, on the southern tip of Cebu, and Maayo Shipping carries vehicles as well as foot passengers on it. Dumaguete handles the longer sailings to Cebu City, Siquijor, Bohol and Mindanao. At Tampi, 10 km to the north, Maayo keeps no current timetable for its other crossing to Cebu, which lands at Bato.
