Of the four islands on this run, Lopez lies nearest to Anacortes. Its ferry landing is at the far northern tip, about 4 miles from Lopez Village, so anyone arriving on foot or by bike has a stretch of road ahead. Cyclists need to be at the Anacortes terminal 20 minutes before sailing, as WSF warns that late bikes may not be loaded on the San Juan Islands routes. Bicycles board at the forward end of the car deck and stay there for the whole crossing.
