About this crossing

FastCat's catamarans are roll-on/roll-off, so this is the crossing to use with a car, van or motorbike between Negros and Panay. At an hour, it takes no longer than OceanJet's fast ferry from BREDCO to Iloilo City. The catch is the landing. Dumangas is a separate town in Iloilo province, 22 km north-east of the city's ferry terminal, so a foot passenger bound for Iloilo City still has the road into town ahead after the crossing. For drivers heading up Panay's east side, it is the more direct place to come ashore. The return from Dumangas keeps its own hours instead of mirroring these.
