About this crossing
At 01:00, the first boat of the day is the only sailing in our listings that leaves Panay for Negros in the small hours. The daytime sailings are spaced four and five hours apart, and after the 17:00 there is an eight-hour gap until that night crossing. Like every FastCat service it is a RoRo operation, so vehicles drive straight aboard. The landing is at Banago on the northern edge of Bacolod, 3 km from the BREDCO terminal where the fast ferries from Iloilo City come in. For a foot passenger, the starting point usually settles the choice, because Dumangas is a separate town 22 km from the Iloilo City terminal those fast ferries use.
