About this crossing

Passengers land at the Lipata Ferry Terminal, north-west of Surigao City, rather than at the city's passenger port, according to Lite Ferries' own schedule (Lipata). The Leyte end is the Port of San Juan at Cabalian, on the east coast of Southern Leyte. One ship, Lite Ferry 25, works every sailing in both directions and turns round in two hours at each end, which is why the sailings back leave at 06:00 and 18:00. The crossing is not sold through Lite's online booking system. From the province's west coast, Maasin has FastCat and OceanJet sailings to Surigao.
