Coming back from Marinduque, only Starhorse is listed, with five departures a day on the return to Lucena. Its six boats a day from Lucena are spaced three to five hours apart, the longest gap falling between the 05:30 and the 10:30, and its adult fare is ₱520. Balanacan lies in Mogpog on Marinduque's north coast, across Tayabas Bay from Lucena in Quezon province. From the same harbour, Starhorse's afternoon boats also head south to Romblon, San Agustin, Banton and Simara.
