Every boat to Simara is followed by one back to Lucena the next afternoon: the 16:00 from Lucena on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays is answered by the 16:00 from Simara on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays (Simara to Lucena). Miss that return and the next is two or three days away. The island lies north of Tablas, 142 km from Lucena on the map. Starhorse runs to neighbouring Banton on other days of the week, at the same hour (Lucena to Banton).
