About this crossing

This weekly ship leaves Manila on Sunday night, spends two nights at sea and calls at Dumaguete in the small hours of Tuesday before reaching Dipolog in the morning. It then carries on to Zamboanga and back to Manila, so the northbound sailing leaves Dipolog the same morning.

Dipolog is the capital of Zamboanga del Norte, in north-western Mindanao, and it adjoins Dapitan, whose port has daily boats to Dumaguete and a twice-weekly ship to Cebu; Dipolog itself also has a weekly sailing to Dumaguete.
