Montenegro runs two kinds of vessel from Masbate to Pilar: fast craft at 04:00, 08:00 and 12:00, and roll-on/roll-off ships at 10:00, 12:00 and 20:00, so at noon two boats leave together. No arrival times are published for either. This is the island's most frequent link to Luzon; Pilar is on the Sorsogon coast, near the southern end of the Bicol peninsula. The sailings from Pilar keep a different clock, including a departure at midnight.
