About this crossing
There is no boat back. Lite Ferries lists this midnight crossing from the northern tip of Cebu to Calbayog, on the west coast of Samar, every day, but neither its schedule page nor its booking engine shows a return from Calbayog to Maya. The way back to Cebu is Cokaliong's overnight ship from Calbayog on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Calbayog to Cebu), which lands in Cebu City rather than the north of the island.
The crossing cannot be booked through Lite's online system, and the vessel named here is doubtful, because Lite's schedule also puts Lite Ferry 25 on its Cabalian to Lipata crossing every day. The departure is printed as 23:59, the last minute of the day it is listed under.
