Twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, a Cokaliong ship leaves Calbayog, on the west coast of Samar, for Cebu City, and that is the only timetabled route out of the port. Lite Ferries brings a boat in overnight from Maya in northern Cebu every day, though nothing is timetabled back to Maya.
