About this crossing
A 04:30 start means reaching the port in the dark, but it buys a passage made almost entirely in daylight and an arrival in Coron at 17:30, three hours before the evening sailing on to Manila leaves (Coron to Manila). Coron town is on Busuanga, the largest of the Calamian Islands, well north of the Palawan mainland, so the ship covers a good part of the province's length on the way. For the opposite direction, the southbound sailing leaves Coron in the morning and arrives late at night.
