A fare in double figures
Passenger tickets start around ₱80. At that price and that frequency the crossing functions as public transport for the two provinces either side, not as a tourist excursion — the traffic is people, goods and vehicles moving between islands as a matter of routine.
The first and last boats matter
A 05:00 departure and a 23:30 one bracket the day generously, which means a same-day return between the islands is genuinely feasible. On many Philippine inter-island routes it is not.

All seven departures run every day of the week, with no reduced weekend pattern and no seasonal variant. That consistency is worth noting: schedules on shorter Visayan crossings often change with demand, and this one, as listed, does not.
