About this crossing

This crossing spans the southern end of the Tañon Strait, between the tip of Cebu island and the Negros Oriental shore at Tampi, 17 km north of Dumaguete.

Two other links between southern Cebu and Negros Oriental keep regular timetables. From Lilo-an, in Santander at Cebu's southern tip, Maayo Shipping sails nine times a day to Sibulan, just north of Dumaguete (Lilo-an to Sibulan). On the other side of the island's tip, Lite Ferries runs a single late-evening boat from Oslob straight into Dumaguete.
