About this crossing

Three lines now share the Tañon Strait crossing from Toledo, and they differ mainly in speed. Aznar's two sailings are the quickest at 45 minutes, FastCat takes an hour and a half, and Lite Ferries, whose two ships alternate through the day, take two hours; between them, no gap in the day's departures is longer than two and a half hours.

Because the road from Cebu City to Toledo crosses the island, allow for the drive when aiming at a particular boat. Sailings back keep a similar spread, the last leaving San Carlos at 18:00 (San Carlos to Toledo). For Negros Oriental rather than Occidental, Maayo's Lilo-an to Sibulan crossing leaves from Cebu's southern tip.
