About the terminal

Toledo is the Cebu end of the Tañon Strait crossing to San Carlos on Negros, six sailings from 05:00 to 19:00, 90 minutes each way, with FastCat and Lite Ferries working the route. The town grew around copper mining and its port handles both the ferry and bulk cargo. For road travellers this crossing is the short way between the two islands — the alternative is a long detour south through Dumaguete — and the through buses between Cebu City and Bacolod use it as a matter of course. Toledo's own port area is compact, and the ferry terminal sits close enough to the highway that connecting buses wait directly outside.
