About Metro Ferry
One short harbour-to-harbour hop is all Metro Ferry has in our timetable: Cebu City across the channel to Lapu-Lapu City, on Mactan, rather than any inter-island passage. Its times there come from an older listing that could not be confirmed, and we found no company website with a timetable of its own, so ask at the pier before planning around a particular boat.
Mactan is also joined to mainland Cebu by road bridges, so the boat is one way across among several. Its advantage is the route itself, from one waterfront to the other with no road traffic in between, which suits trips that begin or end near the two harbours.
Return sailings from Lapu-Lapu City are missing from our data for now, and the Lapu-Lapu City port page has no other departures from the island. Longer routes leave from Cebu, across the channel.
