For Butuan and the rest of Agusan del Norte, the Manila ship calls at Nasipit, on Butuan Bay. It sails on Monday at 18:30, stops at Siargao from 23:30 on Tuesday until the small hours, and docks here at 09:00 on Wednesday. From Nasipit, Cokaliong sails overnight to Cebu and two companies run to Jagna on Bohol, so a traveller can come back north through the Visayas instead of repeating the long haul; the Nasipit port page lists those routes.
