About Lite Ferries

Bohol sits at the centre of Lite Ferries' map, as it has since the company's first RoRo boat linked Loon with Argao on Cebu. Tubigon gets 48 sailings a week each way from Cebu, seven a day and six on Sundays, taking 120 to 180 minutes. Tagbilaran has sailings to Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Larena on Siquijor and Plaridel in Misamis Occidental, and from Jagna on Bohol's south coast ships cross the Bohol Sea daily to Cagayan de Oro and four times a week to Nasipit, the latter in 480 minutes.

Beyond Bohol the network has 45 directions among 23 ports. San Carlos and Toledo have six crossings a day each way; Oslob, near the southern end of Cebu, is an hour from Dumaguete; Cebu has longer runs to Ormoc, Cagayan de Oro, Larena and Plaridel, the last timetabled at 1,080 minutes; and Dumaguete links to Dapitan and, on Sundays only, Dipolog. Lite even sails Batangas to Caticlan, four times a week at 720 minutes.

Its RoRo cargo-passenger ships carry vehicles too, and the company asks for the vehicle's official receipt and certificate of registration when you buy the ticket. You can buy at Lite offices, at port booths or online, and the company's LiteBox parcel service rides on the same sailings.
