About this crossing

Bohol's capital is the last call of this voyage, not the first. MV 2GO Masigla leaves Manila at 14:00 on Friday, spends five hours at Cebu on Saturday afternoon and only then crosses the Bohol Strait, docking at Tagbilaran at 23:00. Anyone in a hurry can leave the ship at Cebu and take one of the many fast craft on Cebu to Tagbilaran instead.

The way back is quicker because it runs direct: Tagbilaran to Manila leaves at 03:00 on Sunday, four hours after the ship arrives, and is in Manila early on Monday. Tagbilaran sits on Bohol's south-west coast, with onward sailings to Siquijor, Dumaguete and Cagayan de Oro.
