About the terminal
Bohol's capital handles more sailings than any other port on the island. From Tagbilaran, on Bohol's south-west coast, Cebu City alone has twelve OceanJet fast craft and a midday Lite Ferries ship every day, plus a Lite sailing near midnight on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. This is also where Bohol connects to the south: OceanJet to Siquijor town and Dumaguete, and Lite Ferries' evening ships to Larena and on to Plaridel on Mindanao on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and to Cagayan de Oro on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Two other Bohol ports offer Cebu crossings with a difference: FastCat and Lite Ferries departures at Tubigon, 36 km up the coast, that start before dawn, and OceanJet's shortest Bohol service from Getafe on the north coast. Loon, the nearest port at 18 km, has no sailings at present.
