About this crossing

Three operators work this crossing of the Bohol Strait to Bohol's capital, and they sort into two speeds. OceanJet's fast craft are timetabled at about two hours; Lite Ferries' and 2GO Travel's conventional ships take four.

OceanJet supplies most of the frequency, with twelve departures a day up to 17:40, and no gap between them is longer than 80 minutes. After that the conventional ships take over: Lite's 22:00 every night, landing at 02:00, and 2GO's 19:00 on Saturdays only, a leg of that company's voyage from Manila. Lite's 13:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays carries on to Larena and Plaridel. Some OceanJet departures double as the first leg of connections to Siquijor and Dumaguete.
