Two quite different trips share this route to Bohol. Cokaliong sails at midday and takes five hours, arriving in Jagna at 17:00; Lite Ferries leaves at 22:00 and takes eight, so its passengers sleep through the Bohol Sea and step ashore at 06:00. Cokaliong's day boat runs only on Mondays and Tuesdays, as one leg of a loop that starts and ends in Cebu, and nothing sails on Wednesdays or Fridays.

Jagna faces Mindanao from Bohol's southern shore. Cagayan de Oro also has a daylight sailing to Jagna, and both lines work the Jagna to Nasipit return.
