About the terminal
Masao serves Butuan City directly, from the shore of Butuan Bay in Agusan del Norte, but nothing is timetabled from it at present: its listed route to Cebu has no sailings in either direction. The working port nearby is Nasipit, 25 km west on the same bay, with Cokaliong ships to Cebu five days a week, sailings to Jagna on Bohol, and a weekly 2GO ship to Manila. For Siargao and the crossings to Southern Leyte, Surigao lies 88 km to the north.
