About Cokaliong Shipping Lines Inc.
Pier 1, near Fort San Pedro in Cebu City, is the home berth for Cokaliong's ships, with only the Cagayan de Oro service using Pier 4, and from Cebu the line has regular sailings to 14 other ports across the Visayas and the north coast of Mindanao. Its 35 directions in our timetable are worked by RoRo ships named after places on the network, Filipinas Surigao del Norte and Filipinas Ubay among them. Only Surigao, Talibon and Ubay have a sailing every day in each direction; every other route runs one to six times a week, and Cebu–Maasin only on set dates.
Many of the passages are long. Cebu to Dapitan is timetabled at 900 minutes, Cebu to Iligan at 870, and Cebu to Masbate, Calbayog, Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro at 720. The short runs to Bohol break that pattern, with Talibon 210 minutes from Cebu and Ubay 240. Jagna on Bohol connects directly with Cagayan de Oro and Nasipit, Dumaguete with Dapitan across the Bohol Sea, and Ozamiz with Iligan in 120 minutes.
Cokaliong sells tickets through its offices and authorised outlets, and a full sailing takes no chance passengers, so buy early around holidays. The company's website also posts a same-day list of departures with the vessel assigned to each.
