About 2GO Travel

One sailing a week goes from Manila to Davao City, timetabled at 55 hours, and that rhythm is typical of 2GO's long-haul network: 48 of its 66 directions sail only once or twice a week. The company runs RoPax ships on overnight and multi-night passages rather than short island hops. Manila to Cebu, five sailings a week in each direction, is timetabled at 22 to 24 hours, and Manila to Cagayan de Oro, four a week, at 34 to 44. Only Batangas to Caticlan has a sailing every day in both directions, and even the shortest leg here, Caticlan to Odiongan, takes three hours.

Manila is the hub of the 20 ports 2GO serves in our timetable, and Batangas is a second base for sailings to Caticlan, Odiongan, Roxas, Iloilo and Bacolod (BREDCO). Palawan is reached through Coron and Puerto Princesa, the north coast of Mindanao through Dipolog, Ozamiz, Cagayan de Oro and Nasipit, with Siargao off its north-east tip, and the south through Zamboanga, General Santos and Davao City. Some ships call at several ports on one voyage, as the Batangas services to Odiongan, Caticlan and Roxas do, so timings vary by day.

A weekly sailing from Cebu to Batangas, starting on 23 September, spares travellers bound for southern Luzon the trip through Manila. It is one leg of a loop that begins in Manila, so no ship makes the crossing the other way.
